Adult Summer Reading!

Starting June 27th, participate in the adult summer reading program!

Grab a bingo card from the display, and fill it out as you read and attend library events. When you complete a line, you can enter your name into our raffle for some great prizes!

The theme for summer reading this year is Build a Better World, and the library is focusing on building a better community – we have some great prizes from local businesses, and we are running a series of programs on Wednesday evenings designed to educate and entertain…

  • June 28 @ 6:30: Forests, Stone Walls and Factories and their Effect on the RI Landscape 1700-2000, a presentation by John Campanini
  • July 5 @ 6:00: Ultimate Werewolf, a party game (Make new friends! Immediately accuse them of being evil beasts! It’s a great time.)
  • July 12 @ 5:00: Come watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and hear a discussion of archaeology fact and fiction by Cary Beatty Maguire.
  • July 19 @ 6:00: Learn about RI wildlife and RI DEM’s conservation efforts from Mary Grande.
  • July 26 @ 6:00: TEDxNorthScituatePublicLibrary, a series of TED talks curated by Katherine, the reference librarian.
