A Proper Tea

North Scituate Community House, Sunday, February 5th, from 2-4 PM.
Enjoy a civilized afternoon at our proper Tea Party. You know the kind…little sandwiches,
dainty cakes, and real English tea.

This is a program for civilized adults only—children have to grow up to attend.

Soft music will be playing, hats and gloves are sure to appear,
and if you are a fan, you’ll be home in plenty of time to see the game.

Tickets are $15, ($10 for Library Association members), and will be
available at the library on January 9th.
We sell out every year, so we are unable to “hold” tickets–sorry!

Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM beginning October 13. Register at the library or call 647-5133 to register. Students will be using Barron’s E-Z Italian, which can be purchased directly from Amazon.com or through local book stores. There is no charge for this class

The Afternoon Book Club will meet on Monday, February 6th, at 1:30 to discuss March by Geraldine Brooks.

The City of Falling Angels by John Berendt will be discussed at the March meeting.

The Evening Book Club will meet on Monday, February 13th, at 6:30 to discuss Billy Budd by Herman Melville.

Solar by Ian McEwan will be discussed at the March Meeting.

The Classics Book Club will meet on Monday, February 27th, at 1:30 to discuss Barchester Towers by Anthony Trollope.

Ross Poldark by Graham Winston will be discussed at the March meeting.
