Please remember that masks are mandatory at the library if you are not vaccinated. That includes all children under the age of 12! If you choose not to wear a mask, we will gladly bring you any items that you need at curbside. You can even call ahead and order whatever you want – even if it’s something vague like “children’s books about dogs” or “superhero movies” – we can help. We’re actually really good at it! For curbside pickup, call 401-647-5133 whenever we are open, and someone will pack up what you need and check it out to you.

We are excited to offer Ancestry Library Edition in our building!   Click here for access! This service is an awesome way to find old records for your family, from vital records and census data, to more interesting ephemera like draft cards and high school yearbook photos. Take a look around and see what you can find! Ancestry Library is totally different from the personal edition of Ancestry, so it might be a little confusing. Don’t worry – during the summer, Katherine will be posting a lot of tutorials and hosting Q&A sessions to help people get into the service.
