North Scituate Public Library is proud to offer two original hand-drawn maps by George E. Matteson in this year’s Spring Silent Auction running through June 11th. The maps, from 1939 and 1946, are on display above our circulation desk…come check them out!

A longtime Scituate resident, Matteson was admired throughout Rhode Island for his beautifully detailed maps. These special maps were generously donated to support the library’s fundraising efforts.
