Thursday, August 1 at 6 PM

Learn about the theory and practice of composting, gain access to helpful resources, and bring your questions. In partnership with the URI Master Gardener Program and Susan Besse. Besse is a retired professor of history who has been composting since childhood, sometimes just to reduce the volume and messiness of her garbage, sometimes to produce as much compost as possible for her gardens, and always to reduce her carbon footprint. She supports any and all forms of composting suitable to your lifestyle, goals, and the possibilities offered by your place of residence.
