Gentian Garden Club, Inc. was organized in March 1935. The objectives of the Club are to develop a working knowledge of all phases of gardening, to preserve and protect the environment, to encourage civic planting and to develop the art of flower arranging.

Membership is open to adult residents of Scituate and adjoining towns. Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the North Scituate Community House at 7:00 p.m., except during summer recess of July and August. In November, December and February, meeting dates may change due to the holidays. Members must attend a minimum of 5 meetings per year. Dues are $25.00. (updated 7/2018)

The Scituate Art Festival, is a favorite Rhode Island tradition over the Columbus Day weekend. We feature 200 juried art and craft exhibitors, select antique vendors, a food court offering regional specialties, live musical entertainment and a huge art/craft/antique raffle.
