The long awaited Wellness Project is starting!
To kick off this four month long event, we are offering two different types of Yoga – Chair Yoga and Adult Yoga.
Have you ever been interested in Yoga, but weren’t sure where to start? Join us at the library as we stretch and pose with beginners and experts together!
Chair yoga is a gentle and adapted Yoga practice where postures are performed while seated or with the aid of a chair. These classes will be opportunities to make movement, stretching, getting up and down to the floor, breathwork, as well as meditation more accessible for everyone. This is a great program for beginners and experienced Yoga students alike. All are welcome in this class.
Please wear clothing you feel comfortable in and can move in. Feel free to bring a Yoga or exercise mat if you wish but it is not required to enjoy this practice.
*This class is for everyone 16 and older feeling well enough to practice Yoga.
