Have you been interested in starting your family genealogy journey, but aren’t quite sure where to start?
Join us this summer for two genealogy classes to do just that! Get tips and tricks from a genealogy specialist, get all your questions answered in a Q&A segment, and leave with helpful handouts from the class. Both classes are suitable for beginning and intermediate level researchers, and are 1 hour in length.
-Starting Your Family History Research
Monday, July 18th at 6pm
Topics include basic genealogical forms, where to research, tracking your research, and questions to ask living relatives.
-Internet Research for Genealogy
Monday, August 1st at 6pm
Demonstration and discussion of search techniques that should make finding any type of information on the Internet easier. Both subscription and free sites will be discussed.
Registration is required. Call the library or email Hannah at hannah@scituatelibrary.org to register or for more information.
